Former Dutch coach Leo Beenhakker died on Thursday at the age of 82, Real Madrid club Real Madrid announced. Beenhakker coached the Spanish team in the 1990s.

In his coaching career, Leo Beenhakker managed teams such as Ajax Amsterdam, Real Madrid, Feyenoord Rotterdam and Real Zaragoza, as well as the national teams of the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Trinidad and Tobago.
