LeBron James, the iconic player of the Los Angeles Lakers, has ended an incredible streak of 1,297 consecutive games in which he managed to score 10 or more points. This streak ended in the game against the Toronto Raptors, in which the Lakers won 123-120. James, at the age of 40, scored only 8 points but significantly contributed with 11 assists, including one crucial assist to Rui Hachimura, who scored the decisive basket.
LeBron stated that it was "just a moment where I played the phase correctly" and emphasized the importance of the game for the team in his career. The last time James did not score in double digits was in January 2007, and in March he became the first player in history to reach 50,000 points in the regular season and in the playoffs.
