The jersey worn by Kobe Bryant in his NBA debut has sold at Sotheby's for $7 million, the fourth most expensive sports jersey in history. It was worn in seven games during the 1996-97 season, including his preseason and regular-season debuts. The sale set a record for Bryant collectibles, topping $5.85 million for another signed jersey. Basketball legend Kobe Bryant died in 2020.
