In the last home match of the year, Juventus Torino achieved an important victory against AS Roma, with a score of 2-1, in the 16th round of the Italian championship. The Portuguese Francisco Conceicao opened the scoring in the 44th minute, and Louis Openda increased the lead in the 70th minute, scoring his first goal in Serie A. Roma reduced the deficit through Tomasso Baldanzi in the 75th minute, but the decisive interventions of goalkeeper Mile Svilar secured the victory for Juventus.
