The Special Olympics Romania Delegation, made up of 22 athletes and 13 coaches, technical and medical staff, is participating from March 7 to 16, 2025 in the world's largest sporting event dedicated to people with intellectual disabilities: the Special Olympics World Winter Games, Torino 2025.
So far the Romanian athletes have obtained the following medals/results:
Gold medal:
Andrei Cupșa- Giant Slalom, advanced level
Casian Munteanu - Giant Slalom, intermediate level
Silver medal:
Tudor Nicolau - Giant Slalom, intermediate level
Iarina Crișan- Giant Slalom
Bronze medal:
Maria Mihai - Giant Slalom, beginners level
