Romanian tennis player Jaqueline Cristian qualified for the first time in the third round of the US Open, the last Grand Slam of the year, on Thursday in New York, after defeating American Ashlyn Krueger, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Christian's next opponent will be American Amanda Anisimova (finalist at Wimbledon this year).
