Italian Jannik Sinner secured a spot in the semifinals of the ATP Finals after defeating Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-3, marking his third victory against him in the last 17 days. Sinner showed strength of character, saving two of Zverev's break points in the first game and hitting 12 aces throughout the match.

In the other match, Felix Auger-Aliassime managed to get past Ben Shelton with a score of 4-6, 7-6(7), 7-5. The 25-year-old player was two points away from defeat in a tense tie-break in the second set, but he came back and secured the victory after two hours and 25 minutes.
