Italy has won the Davis Cup for the third consecutive year.

The Italian team won the 2025 edition of the Davis Cup on Sunday in Bologna, defeating Spain in the final. The decisive point was secured by Flavio Cobolli, who made a spectacular comeback after a poor start and defeated Jaume Munar 1-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5, in a match lasting over two hours.

The Italians, however, achieve a performance that no one has accomplished since 1972: Berrettini and company have won their third consecutive trophy (2023, 2024, 2025), being the first team to do so since the United States between 1970 and 1972.
