The Court of Arbitration for Sport has decided that Israeli athletes will not be able to participate in the World Gymnastics Championships in Indonesia, following the refusal of local authorities to allow Israeli gymnasts access to their territory.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected the appeal of the Israeli Gymnastics Federation, which requested the guarantee of the Israeli team's participation in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta, scheduled between October 19 and 25. The refusal of the Indonesian authorities to allow Israeli athletes access led to this exclusion.

This decision particularly affects Artem Dolgopiat, the Olympic champion on floor from Tokyo and world champion in 2023.
