
FC Botoșani won, on Friday evening, at home, with a score of 3-1, against the champions, in a match from the tenth round of the Superliga, in which they came back from 0-1.
The red-blues opened the scoring in the 36th minute through Daniel Bârligea, who headed in a cross from the right by Thiam. The hosts quickly equalized in the 40th minute when Mitrov crossed from a free kick, and Dumiter won a duel with Baba Alhassan and pushed the ball into the net.
Botoșani struck in the 68th minute. Mailat entered the box and passed to Mykola Kovtalyuk in front of the goal, and the Ukrainian put his team in the lead.
At the end of the match, Kovtalyuk scored again, with a header from Ongenda's cross.
Leo Grozavu's team has accumulated 19 points and climbed to 2nd place in the standings. On the other hand, the red-blues remain with only 7 points. The champions are in 13th place, five points away from the last place, occupied by Metaloglobus.
