Romania Cup: FC Argeș and Universitatea Craiova have qualified for the semifinals of the competition. The first semifinal has been established.

FC Argeș qualified on Wednesday evening for the semifinals of the Betano Romanian Cup, defeating Gloria Bistrița in the quarter-finals with a score of 3-2 after extra time. For FC Argeș, goals were scored by Brobbey in the 17th minute, in the 90+5 minute, and Moldoveanu in the 111th minute. For Gloria Bistrița, Mogoș scored in the 74th minute and Lehaire in the 77th minute.

U Cluj was already qualified for the semifinals, and the "Students" will face FC Argeș in the penultimate round of the Romanian Cup.

Also on Wednesday evening, Universitatea Craiova qualified for the semifinals of the Betano Romanian Cup, defeating CFR Cluj in the quarter-finals with a score of 3-1 after extra time. The Oltenians scored through Carlos Mora in the 69th minute, Crețu in the 105+1 minute, and Baiaram in the 117th minute. For CFR Cluj, Cordea scored in the 90th minute.

The last semifinalist will be chosen between Dinamo and Metalul Buzău, a match that takes place on Thursday, March 5, at 20:00.
