FC Argeș achieved a clear victory, score 3-0, against CFR Cluj, climbing to 5th place in the Superliga standings.

The match, played at home in Mioveni, started with a chance for the Cluj team, who hit the crossbar in the 10th minute. The hosts had a successful goal disallowed for offside in the 19th minute, but opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Ricardo Matos converted a penalty awarded after a VAR intervention. In the 45th minute, Borșa scored a spectacular goal, and immediately after the break, Bettaieb scored to make it 3-0. CFR Cluj could not respond, and FC Argeș reached 30 points, occupying 5th place, while CFR remains with 19 points in 11th place.
