Eugenie Bouchard, former world number five, ended her career at the age of 31 with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 defeat by Belinda Bencic in the second round of the Canadian Open. Bouchard had a thrilling run, coming back in the second set but failing to hold the advantage in the decider.
