Ed Sheeran, 33, has become one of the owners of Ipswich Town football team, acquiring a 1.4% minority stake. Sheeran has been a sponsor for the men's and women's soccer teams since 2021. Following the acquisition, he will not hold voting shares or be a board member. Sheeran grew up near Framlingham, Suffolk, and is a keen supporter of Ipswich Town.
