Dinamo Bucharest defeated SCM Poli Timișoara 35-25 in the first semifinal of the Romanian Supercup, marking the debut of the new season.

The champion Dinamo Bucharest defeated SCM Poli Timișoara on Friday in Bistrița, with a score of 35-25 (19-13), in the first semifinal of the Romanian Supercup, marking the debut of the new domestic season.

Dinamo, the title holder, had as main scorers Vujovic with 7 goals, Lenbroch with 5, and Langaro with 5.

On the other side, SCM Poli Timișoara was represented by Kozakevych, who scored 6 goals, Boskos with 4, and Ravnic with 4.

The second semifinal, also held on Friday, will see CSM Bucharest face HC Buzău.

The finals for third place and for the trophy will take place on Saturday, and on the same day, the semifinals of the women's tournament will begin, between Corona Brașov - SCM Rm.

Vâlcea and Gloria Bistrița - CSM Bucharest, with the finals scheduled for Sunday.

The men's trophy is held by Dinamo Bucharest, while the women's trophy is held by CSM Bucharest.
