David Popovici, the Romanian swimming champion, returned to the country after winning two gold medals at the European Championships in Paris. In an interview for TVR Sport, he discussed the importance of the psychologist in his life and how he maintains his calm, considering it a superpower.

After the intense emotions of the competition, Popovici states that he begins to relax and return to his usual state. He emphasizes that, at the level of top performance, mental preparation is essential, and inner calm can provide a competitive advantage. Additionally, the swimmer mentioned that he prefers to talk to a psychologist to address performance pressure.

In his vacation plans, Popovici wants to explore Romania, traveling along Via Transilvanica and traversing mountain roads such as Transalpina and Transfăgărășan, wishing to discover quieter and less crowded places.
