Cristi Chivu is preparing for his third confrontation with Antonio Conte as a coach, after last season Parma drew with Inter, and Conte won the first leg match between Napoli and Inter. At the press conference, Chivu was asked about the comparisons with Conte, a coach with much more experience and success. Although he expressed respect for Conte's achievements, Chivu emphasized that there is no room for comparison between them, stating that players are the ones that matter in football, not coaches. Inter is in first place in Serie A, and Chivu mentioned that the next match could influence the direction of the season.
