Coco Gauff has won the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing. She defeated Karolina Muchova in the final in two sets, 6-1, 6-3.

Gauff, the former US Open 2023 champion, won surprisingly easily in less than an hour and 20 minutes, as she had six aces and five double faults, while the Czech had two aces and three double faults. It was the American's second trophy of the year, following her success in Auckland in January.
