Chelsea advanced to the Club World Cup semi-finals after a 2-1 victory over Palmeiras in Philadelphia on Friday night. Cole Palmer opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 16th minute and Palmeiras equalized through Estevao in the 53rd minute. Chelsea clinched the victory thanks to a Malo Gusto cross, deflected into his own net by Weverton in the 83rd minute. In the semi-finals, Chelsea will face Fluminense on Tuesday at 22.00.
