Bayern Munich secured an important 4-2 victory over Flamengo in their Club World Cup quarter-final. The German side opened the scoring through an own goal from Erick Pulgar, followed by a goal from Leon Goretzka. Flamengo managed to close the gap through Gerson and Jorginho, but Bayern maintained their advantage. In the quarter-finals, Bayern will face Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Inter Miami 4-0.
