Doppl, the new experimental app from Google, allows users to virtually try on clothes using a digital version of themselves. To get started, users simply upload a standing photo. Then, they can use images from social media, stores or even a photo gallery to see how those outfits would look on them. Doppl generates a virtual image of the user wearing the chosen outfit. The app can also turn that image into a short AI-generated video, giving a more dynamic view of how the outfit fits and moves. Users can save their favorite looks, go back to previous attempts and easily share outfits with friends. Doppl is currently only available in the US, with no word on expansion to other countries.
