The activity of the Modern Democratic Party in the Republic of Moldova will be limited for one year by the decision of the Central Court of Appeal.

The court admitted the request of the Ministry of Justice to temporarily restrict the activity of the political formation for a period of one year. This request was made on September 22, 2025, following reports from the Public Services Agency and the Information and Security Service. The decision of the Central Court of Appeal is not final and can be challenged in the Supreme Court of Justice.
