According to a report by the Center for Strategic Communication, the information attacks of the Russian Federation against the Republic of Moldova have transformed into a coherent ecosystem, aiming to undermine democracy and degrade state institutions. In the period from May to September 2025, advanced tactics were identified, including proxy media networks and the use of Artificial Intelligence for disinformation. The campaigns generated millions of interactions on social platforms, creating a false impression of consensus against Moldova's pro-European direction. Although the electoral impact was limited, the long-term effects on institutions are significant.
