Maia Sandu will make an official visit to Vilnius from March 10-11.

Maia Sandu, the president of the Republic of Moldova, will make an official visit to Lithuania on March 10-11, 2026, according to a statement from the Presidential Administration. The visit is taking place at the invitation of the Lithuanian president, Gitanas Nausėda, and coincides with the celebration of the 36th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuania's independence from the Soviet Union, an act recognized by Moldova immediately after its proclamation.

On this occasion, Maia Sandu will deliver a speech in the plenary session of the Parliament in Vilnius, during a solemn session. The agenda of the visit includes meetings with Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė and the President of the Parliament, Juozas Olekas.
