Teachers from various educational institutions in Moldova organized flash mobs with white sheets in hand, reading Article 43 of the Constitution, which guarantees the right to work and fair wages. The action, initiated by the Federation of Trade Unions of Education and Science (FSEȘ), aims to demand higher salaries and more substantial budget allocations.

FSEȘ emphasizes the importance of education for the future of the country and the need for real solutions for a fair educational system. The Ministry of Education has acknowledged that current salaries do not meet expectations and mentioned that, although salaries have increased by 60% in the last four years, future increases must be financially sustainable. According to estimates, salaries could be significantly increased starting from September 2026, but PAS has stated that there are currently no available funds for these increases.
