The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, congratulated on Thursday the citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the results of the parliamentary elections from last Sunday.

At the European Political Community summit in Copenhagen, Antonio Costa praised Moldova for the overwhelming victory of democratic and pro-European forces in the recent elections. He highlighted that this election is proof of the Moldovans' freedom to choose their destiny and emphasized the importance of this victory for Europe.
