Chisinau police have asked the TikTok platform to block more than 440 accounts promoting disinformation, including the idea that Moldova is involved in the conflict in Ukraine. These accounts have amassed more than 4.5 million views and have more than 1.2 million followers, spreading calls for violence and information about election fraud. The authorities underline that disinformation poses a serious threat to national security and urge people to seek information from official sources.
