The resigning Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Alexandru Munteanu, reacted after the announcement of his withdrawal from the position of prime minister. He stated that he is satisfied with the decision made and avoided providing further explanations, specifying that the reasons for his resignation are more complex and will be presented at a later time.

Responding to a question from the press, he emphasized that he does not accept moral lessons and that most of the information circulated on social media is false.

The Prime Minister mentioned that he will ensure a smooth and professional transition, highlighting the importance of European integration for Moldova.

Munteanu stated that he will continue to serve the country from any position, mentioning that the duty to the country does not depend on the position held.

We remind you that on July 3, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Alexandru Munteanu, announced his resignation, eight months after taking office.
