USR asks PNL for the exclusion of the mayor of Iași: Mihai Chirica cannot be part of the reformist pole PNL-USR

USR Senator Marius Bodea stated that PNL should say goodbye to Mayor Mihai Chirica and exclude him from the party, to demonstrate that there is an opportunity to build a reformist pole in Iași, similar to Ilie Bolojan's model.

Bodea emphasizes that the relations between PNL and Chirica have deteriorated, with the mayor being closer to PSD and AUR, which makes a "cleaning" in the party necessary. He believes that the mayor cannot represent the liberals, considering that his actions are contrary to the values promoted by Bolojan, including corruption and lack of vision. Tensions between PNL Iași and Chirica have intensified, and sources within the party suggest that he will no longer run on the liberal lists in the upcoming elections.

Chirica's relations with PNL Iași leaders, Alexandru Muraru and Costel Alexe, are also cold.
