The Senate leadership has established that, starting with the current session, all plenary meetings will take place exclusively with the physical presence of senators. The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, emphasized that senators who do not participate will be considered absent and will be sanctioned according to the regulations. This decision was made by the Permanent Bureau and reflects an assumption of responsibility in legislative activity.

Abrudean mentioned that physical presence is considered normal and necessary. He also announced that, starting from February 2026, all plenary meetings will be organized only with physical presence, thus eliminating the option for online participation that was available until the previous session.
