Ilie Bolojan announced that PNL will present a proposal for the position of Minister of Education in January.

Ilie Bolojan stated that in January, the National Liberal Party (PNL) will come up with a proposal for the position of Minister of Education, which became vacant after Daniel David's resignation. Bolojan discussed this topic with Marilen Pirtea, the rector of the West University of Timișoara and PNL deputy, but a final decision has not been established.

The PNL leader emphasized that the analysis of options for this position is ongoing, and the decision will be made by the PNL leadership. Daniel David resigned on December 22, refusing to make budget cuts in the areas of Education and Research that he managed.
