Following the vote in Parliament, the motion submitted by AUR against the Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu, was rejected. There were 153 votes against out of a total of 251, with 95 votes in favor and three abstentions. AUR formulated these motions citing grievances related to the judicial system, accusing the slowness of processes and the reduced application of penalties. In response, the Minister of Justice emphasized that Romania is a rule of law state and that justice has evolved, inviting an objective analysis of the situation. He stressed the need for reforms based on comprehensive assessments to make justice more efficient.
