Stelian Bujduveanu, interim mayor general of the capital, said he could run for a full term in the by-elections, stressing the importance of a joint candidate supported by PNL, PSD and USR. He warns that splitting the right-wing vote could allow a sovereignist candidate to win the mayoralty. Bujduveanu continued the projects initiated by Nicușor Dan and emphasized the need for collaboration between parties in order not to fragment the government. He also stated that he will act for the demolition of Cathedral Plaza, once there is a final sentence.
