The decision to exclude senators Rodica Cușnir and Adrian Peiu was taken by the leadership of the SOS Romania party, in the context of the initiative to create a sovereignist pole called 'Romania First'. Their actions were considered inappropriate, as they were carried out without informing the party leadership and without respecting internal rules. Other sanctions were also imposed on other members, including votes of censure for disciplinary offenses.
