The disinformation campaign, for the first time targeting the Republic of Moldova, uses social media bots to spread fake videos accusing Maia Sandu of electoral fraud and political repression. These materials, which mimic international media sources, include accusations related to the arrest of the Gagauz Bashkan and alleged corruption. They also promote Kremlin narratives, including about the President's sexual orientation, in an attempt to damage her public image.
