Romania's embassies and consulates will issue Schengen visas once Romania's air and sea borders have entered the Schengen Area.

Starting March 31, Romania's embassies and consulates will issue uniform short-stay visas - Schengen visas, which allow third-country nationals to travel directly from Romania to other Schengen countries for stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
