Oana Zoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, recently intervened at the United Nations Security Council, where she addressed the risks posed by incidents involving Russian drones that violated Romanian airspace. During a discussion on maritime security hosted by Bahrain, Romania called for these threats to be recognized. Zoiu firmly condemned the actions of the Russian Federation, including the attacks on Ukraine and their impact on Romania's security. Last week, a Russian drone fell in Galați, requiring the intervention of authorities for controlled detonation, and fragments were also found in Tulcea County. In response, the Russian ambassador in Bucharest was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
