Although 72.8% of Romanians support an increase in defense spending, experts point out that Romania is unable to use European armament funds effectively due to inefficient policies. In the context of threats from Russia, Romania's defense industry, led by Romarm, is expecting investments but is faced with bureaucratic procedures and the lack of a coherent national strategy. In addition, military procurement is delayed and technology is rapidly becoming obsolete, jeopardizing national security.
