Romanian Defense Minister Ionuț Moșteanu had a video conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal, where he congratulated the new minister and discussed joint initiatives. The two officials agreed to initiate bilateral projects to strengthen the defense of both countries, including in the framework of the European SAFE initiative. Moșteanu reaffirmed Romania's support for Ukraine, noting the country's contributions to NATO and EU efforts in support of Ukraine.
