REPER has elected new leaders for the Bucharest branch and has nominated Octavian Berceanu as its candidate for the Bucharest City Hall.

At the Municipal Conference, the Bucharest branch of REPER elected co-presidents Ana-Maria Boghean and Iulian Hatmanu and nominated Octavian Berceanu, former head of the National Environmental Guard, as its candidate for the General City Hall. Berceanu stressed the importance of a healthy Bucharest, with green spaces and civilized infrastructure, pledging to contribute to the city's development. Also elected were the leadership of the local branches in the six sectors.
