Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated on Digi24 that he hopes the bill proposing to raise the retirement age for magistrates to 65 years will be validated by the Constitutional Court. If the law is deemed constitutional, Bolojan proposes extending this rule to other professional categories, considering the specifics of their activities.

He provided the example of gendarmes, mentioning that those who work in difficult conditions, such as those in the intervention brigade, could benefit from accelerated retirement. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for rapid intervention in the pension systems to avoid perpetuating a vicious cycle in this area.
