Ilie Bolojan stated on Sunday that the reform of central and local administration is urgent and must be adopted in November. He emphasized that systems that wish to maintain their advantages do not give up easily and that authentic reforms cannot be replaced with electoral promises. Bolojan warned that if the necessary legislation is not adopted in a timely manner, its implementation before the 2026 budget will be impossible.

In response to the question regarding possible increases in VAT and taxes in the absence of reform, the Prime Minister stated that there is no other solution than to convene in November to avoid these fiscal measures.
