During the meeting of the National Political Bureau, the president of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, stated that the party renews its support for the urgent approach to issues related to special pensions and public administration reform. PNL will support the reduction of the number of parliamentarians and the resolution of special pensions by the end of November, otherwise Romania risks losing over 230 million euros in European funds.

Additionally, Bolojan mentioned that the reform of the administration, which has been postponed due to a lack of consensus in the coalition, needs to advance. The Constitutional Court recently declared the special pensions law unconstitutional, but did not rule on its form. The coalition will meet to discuss these controversial topics.
