The National Council of PNL will meet on Friday to discuss the details of the extraordinary Congress scheduled for June 21, in Bucharest.
The meeting will take place online, in the context of some legal challenges regarding the sanctions imposed on those who support the Veştea Government, as well as the DNA investigation targeting Ciprian Ciucu, the liberal first vice president. The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veştea has requested the postponement of the Congress to June 28, while the PNL leadership emphasizes the need to react quickly to developments affecting the party.
The Council's agenda will include the approval of the Congress convocation and the amendment of the PNL statute, and the event will be attended by 2,500 delegates.
