The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, is participating in the 32nd meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), held in Vienna. The event takes place in a context of European security severely affected by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Helsinki Final Act, and the agenda of the meeting, coordinated by the Finnish presidency of the OSCE, focuses on reaffirming the fundamental principles of the Helsinki Decalogue and adapting the organization to current global challenges.
Romania's participation in this event underscores the country's commitment to the rules-based international order and the importance of the OSCE as a platform for dialogue on European security issues.
