She called for a paradigm shift in Romania's foreign policy, without abandoning fundamental values such as EU and NATO membership. Țoiu stressed the importance for Romania to be more visible and active in shaping the security agenda, with a responsibility to lead the discussions and contribute to the stability of the region. He also stressed the objectives of security, prosperity and economic growth for Romanian citizens.
