President Nicușor Dan declared on Tuesday that the possibility of forming a technocratic government "is a scenario that has chances," suggesting his openness to this option.
When asked if he has a name in mind for a technocratic prime minister, Nicușor Dan answered affirmatively, specifying that he has not yet put forward any proposals, as he will do so only when there is a majority formula to support such a decision. This statement suggests a flexibility in his political approach and a willingness to explore alternatives in government leadership.
When asked when consultations with the parties will take place, Nicușor Dan replied: "Thursday or Monday."
Additionally, Nicușor Dan stated that he will invite representatives of AUR to the formal consultations.
According to sources cited by several publications, on the negotiation table there would be four options: a minority government around PSD (PSD, UDMR, and National Minorities), a right-wing minority (PNL, USR, and UDMR), a technocratic government, or a technocratic prime minister with political ministers.
