Nicușor Dan declared on Tuesday that Ilie Bolojan is a serious person whom he respects, but he spoke about the existence of a division between two halves of the pro-European direction. He specified that, in relation to this situation materialized in a motion of censure, he maintains neutrality.

President Dan observed a "split" between two halves of the pro-European direction, which has led to a complicated situation.

Asked if he still supports Bolojan, Dan reiterated his respect but mentioned that the current situation requires a neutral position:

”He is a person I respect, a very serious person, but what we have all noticed for some time is that we have a split between two halves of the pro-European direction. Regarding this issue that has been transmitted in an administrative act – a motion of censure – I maintain my neutrality.”
