At the 'Coalition of the Will' meeting, Nicușor Dan emphasized the importance of transatlantic unity in support of Ukraine, ahead of negotiations with US leaders. He called for an end to Russian attacks on civilians and emphasized the need to continue pressure on Russia through sanctions. Dan said that any decision on Ukraine must involve Ukraine itself and proposed Romania's contribution to security guarantees as essential for Europe's security.
