Nicușor Dan participated on Tuesday at the Digital Governance Summit 2025, organized at the Cotroceni Palace under the patronage of the President of Romania. During the event, he emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence in administration, mentioning that he uses Google's AI. Dan highlighted the need for a single command center to ensure coherence in Romania's digitalization strategy, mentioning that, although theoretically existing, the coordination responsibilities are not clearly defined.

He also discussed the collaboration between the president and the executive, expressing frustration regarding the semi-executive nature of his position. Dan emphasized that the president has more time for reflection and construction, which can positively influence the Executive. Additionally, he mentioned that he has hired an advisor on artificial intelligence issues and highlighted the need for the digitalization of state services, proposing the creation of a unique and citizen-friendly infrastructure to correlate information between institutions.
